Jesus Resurrected for Salvation
Jesus, after living a perfect life for our example and righteousness, dying a substitutionary death on the cross for our sin, resurrected from death to eternal life, conquering satan, sin and death. Jesus triumphed over the grave. “God raised (Jesus) up, loosing the pangs of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by it” (Acts 2:24). Jesus illustrated God’s love, upheld God’s justice, removing the sin of his people. Then, having paid the price of sin for his people, on the third day, He resurrected bodily from the grave, victorious over death and all the powers of darkness. Light conquered dark, life conquered death, grace conquered religion. Victory, victory, victory and nothing short. Thus, our King won; simple and profound, literally changing everything. Our salvation lies in our Savior’s life and death in our place and power over death in His resurrection.

1 Peter 1:3-5  “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.”

Acts 2:24 “God raised (Christ) up, loosing the pangs of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by it.”

1 Corinthians 15:20-23 “But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ.”

John 11:25 “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live.”

Romans 4:25 “Jesus was delivered up for our sins and raised for our justification.”

He is not safe, but He is good. He is the King that does what He pleases. It just so happens that it pleased this King to go to a cross to redeem a people for Himself. We hope and pray that you come to see and savor all that Jesus is for you. For your joy and the glory of God!
