Jesus – Judges the World
One day mankind will be given up to be judged by this just Judge. We see in the gospel of John that Jesus states, “if anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. The one who rejects me and does not receive my words has a judge; the word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day.” We are not judged by our shortcomings as followers of Christ. But, a judgement does await those who “reject” Christ’s words and work of death-defeating salvation. The world will be given up to judgement, but the Church, also known as the Bride of Christ, will rest easy for He received our judgement so that we might be saved. We are saved from the judgement and the following wrath of the one and only God. We as brothers and sisters are to make judgements and to call each other to repentance, exercise church-discipline, etc, but Jesus is the Judge who will judge the world at the end  of time. (John 5:21-23, John 12:48, Acts 17:30-32, Revelation 20:13)

He is not safe, but He is good. He is the King that does what He pleases. It just so happens that it pleased this King to go to a cross to redeem a people for Himself. We hope and pray that you come to see and savor all that Jesus is for you. For your joy and the glory of God!
